I am using QMF to extract data from DB2 (in MVS) and I am trying to create a procedure with logic using REXX.
I would like to access a sequentialdataset. Is it possible to use the command EXECIO here ? If not , could somebody suggest waht I should do ?

I have unloaded data from DB2 Tables and then used Rexx EXECIO to read the Sequential Dataset produced by
the unload. I found unload easier to work with as
I did not have any column headings,etc... to deal
with.

I have been able to successfully use EXECIO to access a sequential dataset in a PROC. I had to prefix the statement with ADDRESS TSO to make it work.

I preferred to extract via SELECT statement and just used a form to restructure the output since it is more flexible. I was able to get rid of the headings through the form.
Thanks illinoisdb2user for the reply.
