I am using Backuup Exec v9 and i have been backing up just the mailboxes, i have had to create a new server and install a fresh copy of veritas, i now need to install them old mailboxes onto the new server, but when i place the media into the drive the media is not even recognised, how can i restore these mailboxes????

Did you inventory the media on the new server. This is necessary for Backup Exec to read the Sessions on the tape. Then you can select the sessions for restore on th restore tab.
