I am using a Sony Mavica Digital Camera. I then import the pictures into a relational file called 'pictures'. I would like to know if there is an extension or some fairly straight forward process for Filemaker to accept a .jpeg file through the import function.
Currently I convert all files to .bmp. I would like to reduce the file size of the pictures.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Doesn't look like it, according to my read of the manual. I usually call graphics by reference to the original file, rather than importing them.

Yes, that is what I did. Reference to the original file, then it works smoothly. I burned a CD and put the application and all the Jpegs on a CD. Speed is fine and I was happy.
