Hi I want to format my c; drive but when ever I type the command format c: it gives me the message bad aommand or file name, is there a way to format my drive...
 
Create a windows startup disk, boot from that and then format it.
 
Yes, that is what I would do!

Whenever Windows decideds to play games with me and give me error messages, I always do what I want to accomplish in DOS. You shouldn't have any problems doing it in DOS. [cheers]
