I am trying to send an email to this particular domain. I always get a delayed delivery notification and then the message comes back after a few days. I did a check DNS on the domain I am trying to send to. Some of their MX records are not set right. I know that in Exchange 5.5 under the internet mail service properties under connections you can specify email by domain. I wanted to do this but I am running a Exchange 2000 server and I am unable to find any such option. I wanted to do this on Exchange so that I can put in the IP addrress of one of the other mail servers which responded correctly and route all outbound mail going to this domain via this IP instead of using DNS.
Does anyone know where I would set this in Exchange 2000?.
I have this article from MS:
I am not sure if this is what I need to do.
Thanks
