I am trying to program new did # on an existing systems, Although when I program the rec'v digits on the target line it gives me an error that the DID 36xx is invalid:
any ideas would be appreciated.

Is that number set as the public received for any other lines?

Sounds as if its already in use against another target line.

Why don't you go to target lines and do a sort to put the public lines in order so as you can see the numbers used in the same area

as snowman50 said and if you can only access programming through the phone then if your target lines start at L255 = extn 3600, and you want to assign eg 3650 then add 50 to 255 and check the rec number for L305
hope this helps
