I am trying to create a drop down menu using rollovers, but I am having a few problems. I have created a simple test, at As you can see, when you rollover the image map at the top of the menu, it displays the drop down, but as you try to move the cursor down over the menu, as soon as you leave the initial image map area, the menu disappears.

Does anyone know how I can overcome this? Any pointers would be a great help,

Thanks,

Pete

You need to use layers in order to make the image stay visable.

Visit - It's a DHTML site but I'm sure they have a few crash course layer lessons.

Alternitively, get yourself a copy of dreamwever. There is a Javascript behavoir that basicly says "on rollover (Initial Button) show layer (Drop Down) & On RollOut (Drop Down) hide layer (Drop Down).
If that makes any sence... ----------------------------------------
