I am new to Photoshop, Need help for replacing the Background

I am very new with Photoshop7.0,I wanted to replace the background of one of my picture.
Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Without any description of your image, your best tek-tip is to read your manual. We're not mind readers here. [bigsmile]

Consider posting your image so that others have a clue what you are talking about. Google for 'free image host' for ideas.

Can you be a bit more specific as to what you wish to do, example, cut out a person or object from a picture then place in onto another picture?
