Yeah you heard me.. I would like to have it so when i plot the drawing it has a field in the titleblock or just somewhere on the drawing it has the date and time printed on it. I would like this to be dynamic obviously so that i can keep track of my revisions more easily. Please let me know if you know how to make this work. Thanks alot,
Bret

you are going to have to use LISP or VBA
do you know either? DougP, MCP

I do not know either and was pretty sure that i had seen a way to do this in autocad 2000. It isn't important enough to get into programmming. It is just a convenience thing. Thanks,
Bret

Autodesk puts out a Plot stamp utillity which is free. You can go to the link below and you can download it. This will only work with AutoCAD 2000 based products(not sure if it works for international release). AutoCAD 2000i and 2002 based products have this built in.

I hope this helps out.

Try the site " It has a plotstamp utility that I used for years until we upgraded to 2000. It has a quick-pick utility as well that is also great.

The utilities work with 14 or 2000 - give them a try.
