i am having problem upgrading to micros 5 1

I am having problem upgrading micros from 4.9 to 5.2 I have attach the log file too
please anybody can help me

This means you have a corrupted view in your existing database.

Open up Sybase Central, navigate to the Views, and sort the existing views by the Status column. Copy the views marked as "invalid" one by one from a known good database into the new system, and test them for validity with the "Recompile and Enable" function. Once all views are valid, rerun "DM -u" to finalize the database upgrade.

Would rebuilding the database before upgrading work? If the corrupted views are owned by the micros db account, sms won't be able to update/recreate them without dba access.

Good catch - this one does take the dba password to fix.

When hitting this error in the past, I never had any luck with a rebuild - I had to replace the single problematic view by hand that a few others were dependent on, then all was well.

Paste that into the vem_foreign_keys view, then the remaining 3 should compile and your upgrade should finish.

it work fine but i have a question after change this thus it will effect in my database because has English and Arabic menu.

It will not affect your menu programming - that view is related to EM server functionality.
