I am creating a report based on information from the Heat System.

What string do I use to get a $ figure to show in a report.
I am getting an error. I simply want to say
Cost = $300 and the informtion is taken in Heat.

We have always used numeric value, now we are using Crystal Reports to report on Purchasing of items in IT.
