I am a novice in VB and would like to know if a copy of it (VB) comes with each each version of windows, or how do I load it to get started.I am currently learning it on my own through one of the

John Smiley's book Learn to Program Visual Basic comes with a working edition of Visual Basic 6.&nbsp;&nbsp;His books are excellent (I have all of them!).. and not as expensive as most others I've seen.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>It might be good for you to also take an intro to Visual Basic class perhaps at SmartPlanet.&nbsp;&nbsp;It's not expensive and you would get a lot of help with any problems you have.&nbsp;&nbsp;John Smiley teaches most of the Visual Basic courses there.<br><br>HTH<br><br>Mary :eek:)
