I’m importing a csv into a vfp cursor. The spreadsheet column order may not always be the same and the column names may differ slightly. What commands do I use ?

Is 'vfp' a 'Visual Fox Pro'? If so, you may be in the wrong forum.
But in any case, your question is very vague. Column order may be different and the column names may differ - what are you trying to accomplish?

BTW - csv is not a spreadsheet, csv is just a simple text file (Comma Separated Value)
