hyphen in text file problem

Hi guys

In importing my ascii file some odd lines contain a hyphen in the text e.g. colour's

can you tell me how best to ignore theses as they generate errors as below. I have tracked this down to a line containing the '

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression ''colour's ')'.

 

[TRACEYMARYLAND]

Can you remove the ' first before importing the data..
and then to put in the data use the replace function

Replace(strName, "'", "''")

That's an apostrophe "'" not a hyphen "-"
