I have a win 98 P.C. that was using Hyperterminal to connect to a remote source. There is a icon that was working but now for some reason when you click on the icon it gives an error that says that there is no association for this file to work.I have gone into Hyperterminal and created a new connection but it doesn't work either. If you open up hyperterminal and tell it to open the icon that I just made or the original one it works from within the open program but if you close the program it doesn't from the desktop icon.I have gone to the windows setup page in add & remove and reselected the hyperterminal program to make sure it had a fresh copy but that didn't work either.Any thoughts. Thanks in advance.

Found the problem,I had loaded the hyperterminal over it self thinking maybe some of the files were corrupt but that didn't fix the problem,so I uninstalled it and rebooted and reinstalled it and now it works.
