Hyperterminal problem

Hi,

After connecting to a hardware device with hyperterminal, the information I type is not appearing on the HyperTerminal terminal screen. I was using Windows 2000 Pro with no problems before upgrading to XP. In comparing the settings in 2000 and XP they appear to be the same. Any help would be appreciated!! :-D

Okay, I figured it out. My scroll lock was enabled on my keyboard. Thanks anyway!!
