Hyperterminal for 3100

Does anybody know how I need to configure HyperTerminal to connect to a 3100 switch? If I use the settings that I normally use for say a 2900XL, then I can't navigate the menu's.

Any ideas would be great !

I've just tried this out to confirm my instructions: There should be a 25-pin console port on the back of every 31## model. With a 25-pin to RJ-45 rollover cable you should be able to connect no problem. Did you try tapping <Enter> after the unit was powered up and HyperTerminal was connected? If you still have problems let me know exacly what model # it is and I'll dig around. Regards,
