Hyperterminal Eating Baud Settings

Running Hyperterminal on Windows 2000 Professional.

Everytime we set the baud rate for the connection, the menu seems to remove all higher speeds as an option for later use.

We are now restricted to only 300 and 1200 baud rate.

This is also occuring on new connections, and after a reboot of the computer.

WHAT IS WRONG?????!!!!!!!
