Hyperterminal and TCP/IP

When I try to set up a new connection in Hyperterminal, TCP/IP is not listed as an option in the "Connect Using" dropdown listbox. TCP/IP is installed and configured on the machine and I do have a proper IP address. I'm on a network and running Win98.

Any ideas???
