Are url hyperlinks active in access reports, tables, queries? I have a table that contains thousands of url hyperlinks that are linked to several other tables in my database. While these links look and smell like hyperlinks (i.e. underlined in blue), clicking on them does nothing. My web browser does not open and navigate to the relevant web pages. These hyperlinks are inactive in every instance: the underlying table, queries, and reports. Each one of these links contains the full url address (i.e. Can I activate these hyperlinks? If so, how? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please note: I have already changed the property for this field in the underlying table to "hyperlink".

which access version do u have, they should all work, using access 2000 here...may be try double clicking?

If that fails, maybe its because access cannot find the default web browser?

by the way you can try to trouble shoot by right clicking on the hyperlink and putting open in new window to see if that works

I'm using Access 2002.
Double clicking does nothing.
Is there a way to test whether Access can find the default web browser?

try putting a hyperlink to open a file...and check to see if that works...maybe also try compact and repair, and detect and repair access...not sure sorry

I think that I figured this one out. Thanks for your help and prompt replies.
