Hyperlinks-PDF/InDesign limitations?

Hi,

I am having problems exporting a book to PDF. The problem lies with the hyperlinks. It is a catalog, and uses a lot of hyperlinks. (Index pages, TOC, associated items etc) Pretty much any item that has a "See page XXX" has a hyperlink that will jump the customer to the appropriate page. Everything works great in I.D., but when you export to a PDF, not all of the links work. I have exported a bunch of different ways, and am starting to feel that it may be a program limitation of I.D.

The first few pages of links will work perfectly, then it will jump you to page 0 for a few pages, and then the remaining links simply do not show up.

We have found that when creating a book, you are limited to 100 files per book. I am wondering if there is a programming glitch that limits hyperlinks to something like 1000 (or any arbitrary number)?

It feels like we have hit a brick wall, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill
