Hi All,
I don't know if anyone has come across this problem I have.
In my company, we just deployed McAfee anti-virus enterprise 8.0 to some systems (running Win2K pro). Now, the problem is, for users using Word 2000 as their email editor, they can't open intranet hyperlinks in outlook while the reverse holds for internet hyperlinks.
On troubleshooting with a computer that the McAfee is yet to be deployed to, both Intranet and Internet hyperlinks opened – with and without MS Word enabled as e-mail editor.
The funny thing is, on the CCs that have McAfee installed, intranet hyperlinks open when Word is not enabled however, the same intranet links don't open in any Word, excel, or Powerpoint document.( I guess that goes my theory of the McAfee being solely responsible for the hitch! - assuming the issue were solely McAfee, intranet links in Outlook (Word deselected) wouldn't open, would they?
Just can't pin my finger on it; Any pointers/suggestions welcome.
Your comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Pont
