Hyperlinks in Word and Wordpad

We have a knowledge management system within our intranet in our company. Within this there are numerout Word docs that are saved and within these documents are hyperlinks to other documents within the site. Not all of our users have Word installed so we have so that these documents open up in Wordpad. Documents look fine with the exception of the hyperlinks. Is there anyway to save a Word doc with hyperlinks and when opening it up in Wordpad the hyperlinks are enabled.

I don't think so. They are two different applications, and WordPad does not support hyperlinks.

Save your Word documents as Web Pages, those who don't have Word can open them through Internet Explorer and use the hyperlinks and those who have Word can open the docs using the app itself. Not tested
