Hi all,

Is there any way to put a hyperlink in the footer of a Word document and make it active?

Thanks,
John

I think if you hold left click down and drag it over your
footer to highlight it and then right click on any part of the highlighted area you should be able to hyperlink.

Hi John, I'm not sure but I don't think you'll be able to activate the link in a footer until you first go into header/footer mode. A quick way to do that, by the way is to double-click on the footer (you don't have to do it through the menu). That brings you into the footer, and you can then click on the link. (To quickly get out of h/f mode, double-click anywhere in the document.)
