When I create a hyperlink in a signature and insert into a mail the link does not work. What am I doing wrong?

Please clarify "does not work":

Does the recipient not 'see' the link?
Is the text there, but it's not 'clickable'
Is it 'clickable', but the browser never opens?

What mail client is sending & in what format?

Are your emails in HTML?

They won't work with a text email!

That's not entirely true, as many email clients will convert them to links, even in plain text.
