I have over 400 hyperlinks that I need to insert into my database. (it is formated under Access 2000 because I have users with various versions of access).

I created a table with the necessary fields to do an update query I set the field up as a hyperlink. The field appears correct but when I go into edit the link the name field is correct and the "address" field is blank.

Is there a quick way I can update all of these links or am I doomed to have to update these one at a time?

Not quite seeing the problem here. If you have a table with the addresses as text can't you just go to the table and change this to hyperlink?

It is set up as a hyperlink but when I try to click on it it does nothing. When I look at the edit, the name of the link is there but the address isn't. I need a faster way (if possible) to update all of the addresses without going into edit on each link and copying the link into the address field.

You need to use the full address including http://

If just using www. etc you get what you see, ie your entry in 'Text to display' but nothing in 'Type the file ..'

You can use an update query to add the http://

The hyperlinks are to files on my network. the full path is there including the network drive, the names of any subfolders and the full file name. The path is not the problem. The problem is when I import the data from excel it doesn't add the address to the hyperlink field

I've just tried on a test database with a link to

c:\Documents and Settings\Users\My Documents\Humax\Transfer.doc

It opens correctly so not at clear what your problem is.
