Hyperlinks and anchors

I'm working with Access 2007 and have several records that contain hyperlinks that link to web pages on my computer. When clicked, the link is supposed to open up the page to a specific point and uses the (#) sign in the path name. However, when I enter the path into the record, the (#) is changed to a (-) and the link doesn't move to the part of the page it's supposed to. How do I fix this?

Please check this link. It appears that the pound symbol is not valid in office hyperlinks.
