I need to be able to put a hyperlink into an excel workbook so that when it is clicked the whole page automatically becomes an attachment in outlook, or if this is not possible automatically sends the page to the recipients. I am using Office 2003.

Thanks

Hello,
I'm not sure how to do this exactley however i have a simialr process in an access database of mine. When the user clicks an action button the button launches a batch file that winzips the selected file and attaches to an email. Does this sound like it may assist you ? If so I can tell you code and software requirements ?

Ian,
the command button in my databases uses macro with the action "OutputTo" a similar macro can be written in excel. If you are unsure how to do this as I am let me know as I will be happy to look at this and I know it is definately achevable. The macro can appear as a hyperlink or button in excel and create a file in an output location. C:\

Once you have created the output file the following simple command will launch outlook and attach the designated file.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE10\outlook.exe" /a c:\test.txt

Letme know what you think or if i am on the right lines

Ian,
now have some fyrther information which may help you see thread68-1118133. It provides the code to output an active worksheet to a file. This combined with the detail above should get you somewhere close ??
