Question;

I have 2 documents hosted in Livelink, document A contains a hyperlink to a bookmark in document B

Problem;

When user clicks on hyper link in document A for the first time, they are redirected to the TOP of document B be NOT the bookmark. BUT! everytime after that first click the hyperlink works correctly and takes the user to the proper location in document B (as long a IE is not completed closed).

Ideas?

Documents in livelink are not like documents that is sitting in perhaps the desktop of your computer.
In looking at your example If I put document A in livelink and observe its link say for e.g it is 123456.You might have another livelink document refrenced by its URL say ot is 56789.
User clicks fectch or open on 12345,livelink after it checks verything sends the document form the livelink repository to your computers harddrive,mostly in your temporary internet files location,now it is like a local file.

If you click the second link a simliar temporary document is opened after that both copies are local in your computer that is why the book marks seems to work,

This may differ in oeration if the documents are opened via livelink explorer,ent connect or webdav.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?
