Hyperlink to specific record in a form

In a recent database, I designed a routine that sends an e-mail with a hyperlink back to the database so that the recipient can add/update information. The hyperlink works well, but only returns to the form (which is the subaddress).

How do I program the hyperlink to go, not just to the form, but to search/find a specific record?

This one has be baffled!
