Hello, can someone please suggest an easy way to assign a hyperlink to a record in a form? The hyperlinked file will be a single-page scanned pdf. Ideally, it would be nice to click a button which prompts me to scan the document and have access automatically save the pdf and create the hyperlink. Or second best, I could pre-scan all the documents in a specific folder, then click a button on the form which opens that specific folder and allows me to quickly choose the pdf I want to hyperlink to. Thanks.

Method 2 on a form create a Label you can use hyper like address to open the document. As a side issue it may have a warning message about virus. If you wan to disable hyperlink warnings you need to create a key with regedit

Never give up never give in.

There are no short cuts to anything worth doing :)
