I am trying to hyperlink from an access form using a button to open another database on a different shared drive.
The name of the folder that houses the database consists of 4 words with spaces and no underscore. Same is true with the mdb file within.
As a result of some erros I incurred early in my Access life, I was told that Access was picky about spaces and worked best either using no spaces or an underscore in place of a space in both the Shared drive name and the Folder name housing the DB. As a result I have always been careful on the "Naming" piece and had no problems.
We were given permission to access this DB from a department in another part of the state. I am trying to set a hyperlink from an Access form but due to the spacing issue, it will not take. Is there a way to get around this problem?
