Hello List,
I have created a form with a button that opens the file menu. I select a file. The file path and name are then populated in a text box. This text box is bound to a hyperlink field in my table.
The problem is:
The local file names (hyperlinks) are populating as such:
c:\windows\bubbles.bmp##
They should be populating this way:
#c:\windows\bubbles.bmp#
displaytext#address#subaddress
When I click on the hyperlink in my table or query - it does not work. I think Access is interpreting my path and file name as the displaytext instead of the address.
Is there a setting in the properties of my form or table that controls how Access 'writes' hyperlinks to the table?
Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
Thanks,
doug
