Hyperlink opens Blank Screen..... 1

Hi All,

First up, wny help anyone can give me with this one is apprectiated. Been trawling through MS Knowledgebase with no joy.

I'm running Win2000 Pro, SP4, IE 6 with following updates: -
SP1 - Q832894 - Q330984 - Q837009 - Q831167

I have noticed that when I click on a hyperlink in IE it opens a new screen but the page is blank. There isn't even a URL in the address bar. I've been through the IE Settings to see if I can see anything but nothing pops out as being wrong.

Have any of you guys seen / experienced this and if so how did you rectify it.

My 78% of the time "fix":
Open a new notepad session, to be called IE_fix.cmd, and copy/paste the below:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Msjava.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll

Save the file, then double click IE_fix.cmd and answer the prompts. Ignore any error messages.

Reboot and test again.

Better than MS Answer, they just babble on about changing to Http 1.1 which if they had checked is already preset!!
