Dear All,

I can insert a comment into my text and a square bracket with the reviewer’s initials appears at the appropriate place. I want to make this text function as a hyperlink. When I highlight the text and open the dialogue box I am able to assign the web address that I want it to link to. The text turns blue to indicate that it is a hyperlink. The problem is when I clink on the comment indicator in the text it doesn’t go through to the webpage as normal would. Any ideas?

Thanks

David

I am not following. I just made a comment, selected some of the text of the comment, made it a hyperlink. It urned blue. If I click on the hyperlink it acts like a hyoperlink - the browser opens with that page.

What I do not understand is:

" I clink on the comment indicator in the text "

You have to click on the hyperlink.

Comment indicators are not document content that you can manipulate. You cannot use such meta-data as hyperlinks - or anything else.

Enjoy,
Tony
