I was wondering if it is possible to send an e-mail out of an Access form to a person in the company that has a hyperlink (Dockink in Lotus Notes), then the receiver can click on the hyperlink and open the form in the database? This is to be used in in an approval process type application.
Example: Person fills out a vacation request form, selects his supervisor from the e-mail list, clicks a button that generates an e-mail to the supervisor with a hyperlink.
Supervisor clicks on the link, it takes him to the database and he can now see an approval/disapproval button (hidden from employee at submission). Supervisor clicks on approval and e-mail is sent to employee and notifys them as to approval or disapproval of request.
Thank you for any assistance.
