Hyperlink from Access to Crystal

I have a hyperlink field in an access table. I am using Crystal 8.5 to pull information from the access table. When I add the field into the crystal report, it only shows up in text of the PATH to the link but does not work as a link. I cannot select in the Hyperlink tab as "Current field value" because it is grayed out. Is there a formala that I could use to get this to work as a hyperlink carried over from the access table field?
