Hyperlink error : on Exporting crystal report to Editable RTF format

Hi , I have a crystal report in which a hyperlink has been embedded in a Text Field. The hyperlink works normally without issues when exported to .PDF,.DOC . But, when I export this report to Editable RTF format; the hyperlink gives error "Error! Hyperlink reference not valid. "

I could see all the hypens ("-") in the URL has been removed when exported to .RTF, which makes the link invalid and the error is thrown. Surprisingly, this happens only when exported to .rtf.

Any workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't get this to break - can you give some more detail? Is the hyperlink coming from a database field?
