Hyperlink colors revert to default

I set the hyperlink colors using Page Properties in FP2002. When I send the page by e-mail using Outlook, the colors have reverted to the default. And there is no rollover effect. Any ideas?

i think you will have to use a css file, that can be accesed online.

when the user opens the email the css file is then loaded.

I tried doing that. Do you have to give the page a special command to access the css file? I clicked Format-->Style sheet links -->and the URL. But it didn't work when I e-mailed. Is there something else I should have done? Thanks for replying.
