I have a DL380 Gen9 with 1GB 4 Port built in and another 1GB 4 Port card for a total of 8 1GB ports.
What I was thinking of doing is assign 1 port to the Host then team (dynamic, all active) the other 7 and assign that to the guests (they would all share the 7 ports presented as 1 nic).
I don't plan on doing a cluster but I may do a live migration in the future. Should I only team 6 and leave that extra port for live migration? Or not team any?
You thoughts and opinions are appreciated. I would just like some input from other people.
