There are quit a few options:

for Microsoft Products:

You can also use

SMS (Microsoft's System Management Server, 2003 version in beta)

There is also TrackIt (Ticket Handling Software) that has a License component.

- PC-Duo is pretty slick stuff and does more than just license compliance, but can do just that too.

Here is one more for you (SysTrack v3.1 from Lakeside Software) that in addition to ensuring license compliance it will show you where there are "unused" software licenses. Here is another example: if you are buying Office Premium and wondering if you could get by with Office Standard, SysTrack can show you which "premium" clients could get by with just "standard" (those who don't use Access). The software does many other things. A free demo of v3.1 is available from Lakeside's ftp site.
