If I have 5 POTS lines and none of them are built to hunt from telco, and each terminates at a different phone set how would I get a second call to go to the NAM voicemail? Do I have to have call waiting? Or a second line in a hunt group? Currently if the person is on their line and a second caller tries calling they get a busy.

if you are talking about phones having direct numbers that ring them and then go to a personel VM box, you have to have a second line in a hunt group for each phone.

Do they have a 2nd Intercom key? If not go to

VM DN

Yes they do have second ICM keys. But even if the do won't I still get a busy from telco on a second call?

Yes, you either need call waiting or a 2nd line to hunt to from Telco.

So call waiting would do it? After I set that up it would automatically roll over to voicemail?

Only if you have voice mail from your telco. Call waiting call won't go to an internal voice mail

So unlike the PBX when the call comes in on a T-1 we can just have the second call roll to voicemail becasue it has a second path to hunt to.

T1 is different and will work as you describe... but you said you have POTS lines
