What I want is to send calls (via auto attendant) to a group of people, but rather than using a Hunt Group (which allocates calls based on who hasn't answered a call recently), I want to aim the call initially to extn 12, but if extn 12 is busy or has Do Not Disturb set, then I want the call to go to Extn 13, (and if he's busy then send it to 14 instead). Ideally, if the last person in the chain doesn't answer, then the call should be handled by VMS.

Does anyone have any clues on how to do this?

Maybe try the transfer return ext on 12 to point to 13, 13 to point to 14 and so on... Really not sure if this is possible with a Partner.. Matt Wray

What you suggested won't work as the Transfer Return relates to the originating extension, rather than the extension receiving the call. I've tried using Call Forward, but the call only follows one 'hop', then uses the Transfer Return setting of the 'middle' extension :-(

Yeah I didn't think it would. Sorry, just a shot in the dark. I truthfully don't think Partner will support this. Matt Wray
