Huntgroup setup 1

I am two control units, one is on 3.1(65) and one on 3.0(40). I'm trying to setup a hunt group on unit with 3.1 but the main unit is on 3.0 where the call routes are setup. I have many routes setup prior to the ver. mismatch that are still working but I am unable to create any new huntgroups, is this a known issue?

Have you created a shortcode for the huntgroup on the main unit pointing the call to the remote unit?

That worked fine but when I try to move an extension that was already setup for a user as the huntgroup number it is moving their VM name wav and keeps saying invalid login when I try to login and change it. I reset the p/w multiple times(under HG vm) to blank and with a number but still wont let me into it. It works fine with an extension not already setup though.

Humm, would try deleting the huntgroups and users Voicemail folder on your VM machine and see if that solves the problem.

I tried that but it still didn't work. I just had to setup new huntgroup DIDs and forwarded the numbers I wanted to use to them and it worked fine.
