Hi I am setting up my first huntgroup queuing. I have a question:

Lets say there is two people in the huntgroup and one is on the phone, and the other person walks to the bathroom or copier. Their phone is no longer idle and will ring but no one will pickup.
Does it go to the huntgroup voicemail or can it be sent back to the queue?

Have you read the section on huntgroup queues in Manager help?

Does it go to the huntgroup voicemail or can it be sent back to the queue?
yes
which one (possibly both) depends on how you have configured your group.
as Cargoski says press the F1 key.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Yes I did read it and don't really see anything describing my question in general.

It tells you how all the settings work and when they apply etc, it's up to you to fit the pieces together/work the rest out from that.
As IPGuru said though, it can do either/both depending what you have set/how you have set it :)

I guess I am reading the wrong help file. I am reading the one in IP Office Manager over huntgroup queuing.

It looks like the queuing should be setup mainly in voicemail pro using "queued" and "still queued" start points.
Should that be where I setup the huntgroup queue. I'm just looking for a finger in the right direction.

VMPro doesn't do queuing but does do the announcements.
The IPO does do the queuing and you have to look at this group and the timers configured for voicemail (if turned on) and the noanswer/overflow timers.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks. I think I got it all figured out now.
It seems the end user can't tell it's ringing on an agents phone when they become available.
So if someone from the huntgroup walks away their phone simply rings and rings, but the person calling is still in the huntgroup.

This was what I was confused about. How would it have gone back to the queue... but it never really leaves it unless someone picks up.
