Hunt 4423

and fdn 4423

What does this mean ?

Hunt typically means when the person is busy on the phone, the next call will ring to extension 4423. Pay attention to the LHK (last hunt key) to see if it has an entry. If it does, then the call will ring up to that key number before hunting to 4423.

FDN means if the phone is not answered the call wil be redirected to 4423 after a predefined number of rings.

Hey Altolabado.

FDN & HUNT will help you direct how an incoming call gets handled.

For example. If you have a user (1111) who wants his phone to ring on his secy (1112) but go to VMail (5555)if she's on the phone.. you can set this up to:

FDN 1112, HUNT 5555!

Keep in mind, All calls are routed to whatever is typed at FDN if unanswered.

If the FDN ext is busy, all calls are then sent to the HUNT.
