Hi. I wonder about this different type of hunt groups mode. You have terminal and circular. If i have a hunt group with the type of circular and the person in the hunt grops that get the call is not able to answer (Ext 502) and this call i rerouted to another hunt group med the same members is the system so smart in this case so it understand that there is no point in giving the call to ext 502 and picks anonther ext in the hunt group?

hope some one understand my question.

system is 3300, SW 8.0.9.20

Regards UO

Hunt groups do not keep track of what phones have been offered calls and have not answered. If the phone is not busy and it is next in queue, it will get the call.

A terminal group will always offer calls to the first member first (unless busy). If only 1 call presented at one time, the first member will get all calls.

A circular group will offer calls to members on a rotating basis. If only 1 call presented at one time, all phones will get 1 call before repeating back at the beginning.

Ok. that I understand, thanks.

If i have a hunt group (Terminal mode) with 3 members (Ext 501, 502, 503) and the hunt group offers a ext 502 because the 501 is busy.

the ext 502 is transfering the call to ext 601 and there is no answer on 601 (now 501 and 502 is free) the call is routed backe to the huntgroup and member 501. What I would like is to make sure that the call is routed back to the ext that made the transfer from the begining if this ext is free, is this a COS or ??

/Regards UO

You are asking the system to route a unanswered transfered call based on the originator of the transfer.

Not going to happen.

Try supervised transfer.
