I'm migrating our company from a Realitis to a 3300 and I'm struggling replicating some user's hunt group arrangements. I appreciate the short comings of Mitel hunt groups, but where I experience difficulties is with hotdesk users.
Has anyone got a good solution for defining a 1st alternative for a hotdesk user as a hunt group which comprises other hotdesk users. The problem is if the other hotdesk users in the hunt group are all logged out then you experience nu tone. It won't route to a 2nd alternative as it doesn't reach the time.
I've got it kinda working by entering vmail ports into ther hunt group but this isn't suitable for circular hunt groups.
I've tried other things with ring groups but it seems without a "normal" permanent device somewhere in the equation its not possible?
Any suggestions?
Thanks
