We have a Hunt Group Setup (lines 801 - 808) to go to an auto attendant (Calling Group 3077). Now I am trying to setup a second Auto Attendant (Calling Group 6700) for a special project that we are doing. I called the phone company and had them remove line 808 from the original hunt group. I have setup the new Auto Attendant and added line 808 to the Lines in the Merlin Messanging. I can call ext 6700 from my phone and get to the new Auto Attendant, however when I call the line that is 808, it still goes to the original Auto Attendant. I am wondering if line 808 is in a hunt group within the PBX (as opposed to a Hunt Group created by the phone company)...and if so, how do I redirect line 808 to go to the new Auto Attendant (6700)? Thanks for the help.

I have found that the original Auto Attendant (3077) has a pool (890) that contains line 808 but it will not let me delete 808 out of it. I created a pool 891 and added that to my new Auto Attendant (6700) but cannot get line 808 to go into it. Am I on the right track? Thanks

Ben

Try removing all of the trunks in that pool then adding them back in. Are those loop-start trunks or are they on a T1?

The PBX will not let you remove a line from a pool if it is in use. Make sure the line is free, then try to remove it again. The line must be removed first before it can be added to pool 891.

Yup I got it. I figured out a way to remove the line from a pool. Once that happened, it let me add that line to another pool. Thanks for the help.
