Does a Main hunt group number have to be a DID? What if a number that has already been setup in your rebase extension list and you want to use one of those extensions as a main hunt group number can that be done?

Main hunt group can be any number you want as long as there isnt a conflict with an extension or shortcode. In your incoming call route just point the DID to the hunt group, the number doesnt matter.
